From fragmented tools to full transparency: How p2m Group scaled project management with Easy8
When p2m Group’s rapid growth began to outpace their legacy software, they faced the ultimate consultant’s dilemma: how to scale a team of 100 experts without losing the transparency and intuition that defined their success.
Previous state
Founded in 2008, p2m Group specializes in management consulting, working with a dedicated team of consultants, trainers, and human development specialists. From the very beginning, the company sought a solution that would allow them to manage their projects within a unified, transparent, and fully traceable system.
Starting in 2011, the company used easyprojects.net, which served their needs well for a long time. However, as p2m Group grew, it increasingly began to encounter its limitations.
It could no longer keep pace with their broadening requirements, growing user base, and evolving demands. The leaders were looking for a system that would best meet their data requirements while remaining intuitive and user-friendly for their team.

Implementation of Easy8
Preparation
The p2m Group gathered input from all their teams and management to map out their functional needs. Their experience with a previous system made it easier to summarize the additional features the organisation required from a comprehensive solution. This led them to contact Easy8.
Together, the company reviewed its goals and evaluated how the system could meet them. Since it became clear that the platform offered a solution for every important aspect of their operations, the leaders of p2m Group decided to move forward with the implementation.
Settings
In collaboration with the Easy8 team, the p2m configured the system together. The company leaders defined the project dashboards, user types, and specific user roles to ensure the platform was perfectly tailored to their needs. Any further adjustments are handled internally, though p2m has the option to involve Easy specialists whenever necessary.
Cloud solution
The company uses the cloud-hosted version. Ensuring 24/7 system availability is a priority, and p2m recognised that their on-premises infrastructure could not match the high availability and scalability provided by the cloud.
Training
The rollout began with p2m administrators receiving expert training directly from the Easy team. Following this, p2m admins conducted training sessions for all users, tailored to their specific roles.
This training is now a standard part of the onboarding process for every new hire, as the system has become an integral part of the company's daily operations. Of course, the company can still count on the support of the Easy team for any questions that may arise.
Testing
Currently, p2m doesn't use a separate test environment. However, p2m did have one in place earlier when the organization was focused on integrating our administrative software with the Easy system.
