Easy Redmine - more than project management. A complex information system!

RTL RADIOCENTER BERLIN runs some of the well-known radio stations in Germany and are a successful media marketing organization. Easy Redmine allows managing all important processes and projects in one tool.
Requirements
The company was looking for a tool to manage IT and software projects. The application was to be hosted on-premise due to the security policy. This included Git integration and LDAP authentication, agile, as well as resource and support management. Practically, the main objective was to integrate the key IT functions into one tool.
Solution
The client requested to provide the complete functionality mentioned above, and Easy Redmine was deployed along with additional plugins.
- Easy Agile Board - for agile project planning
- Help desk - for support management
- Quick project planner for fast and effective workload allocation.
On demand, Help desk was tweaked to serve particular requirements, e.g . enhanced customization of e-mail templates.
After the initial deployment, the company found interest in other functionality of Easy Redmine such as Attendance monitoring was added as another integrated feature of Easy Redmine. This plugin was also enhanced on demand by adding a function which automatically determines the users' location on login according to their IP address.
As a "cherry on top", RTL uses smaller but handy tools like Project Attachments .
