By default, Easy Redmine template is fully responsive and, therefore, easily usable in mobile browsers. That means you can access your Easy Redmine from mobile the same way you access it from the laptop and most of the features will be available. The whole project (with tasks, milestones, team members, documents, etc.) can be saved as a template and this template can be used for a new project initialization in the future. 10+ predefined dashboards for common roles

Easy Redmine 2018 comes with a series of predefined dashboards (homepage templates) for most common user roles, such as sales manager, sales worker, project manager, IT expert, helpdesk worker, etc. These can be selected for each user independently in his personal user settings. To add or remove any of the templates, just go to Administration » Pages customisation » My page » Templates overview.

Improved agile UX

Previously, both Scrum board and burn down chart showed the same "Value info" data according to Scrum settings. However, this could lead to some inconveniences as some specific data can make good sense when shown in Scrum board but not so good when shown in burn down chart. That's why we have split "Value info" settings separately for Scrum board and burn down chart. Newly, the setting for burn down chart can be found in Sprint settings, i.e. when creating a new sprint or editing an existing one by clicking on a pencil icon next to the sprint name.

Improved helpdesk

Now you can have a better helpdesk statistics due to the possibility to filter helpdesk tickets by mailbox addresses of their senders. This way you gain a better overview of the most support demanding customers and perhaps suggest them a higher level of customer support service.

Improved documents

Now you may add on your personalized homepage a module containing the list of documents (or another selected entity) across various projects. Just add a new module type "List" and for this list select entity type "Documents". If you want to see selected projects only, specify them in the filter settings of the module. If you prefer having an overview of all documents in projects, just leave the filter empty. Using the list module, you can choose from a broad variety of different entities to show, documents is only one of them.

Custom pages import

Custom pages (easy pages) can be imported easily using a specialized button that you may find in the top right corner in Administration » Pages customisation. Before you can import anything, you need to export a page by clicking on the "Export" option within the inline menu that appears after hovering the mouse cursor over a selected custom page in the list.

Redmine 3.4.2 and Ruby 2.4 support

Redmine 3.4.2 is the officially supported version for Easy Redmine 2018.00 (=2016.08). It means that Easy Redmine now runs on Redmine of that version and no other versions are supported. Though, some features of Redmine may be removed due to functional conflicts with Easy. Moreover, support for Ruby 2.4 has been added while Ruby versions lower than 2.3 are not supported anymore. How to enable new theme after switching from 2016 version?

Go to Adminstration >> Settings >> Display >> Theme - ER 18
